Ever sign up for an event that seems far away? Like you've got plenty of time to prepare, but then somehow all that time just seems to evaporate, and you realize one day "oh crap, that is right around the corner". 😕 Well that's where I'm at back in April when I booked this June 24th seemed so far away but now that it's right around the corner, I'm not ready and Father's day is in the way. I know that sounds awful but spending the weekend before the event traveling is just very bad timing for me. Like how in the time between booking this and now I've helped a friend move house (there went days), we had to have the kitchen drain replaced, the water main in started leaking had to have it dug up and replaced, the sump pump died had to have it replaced, the hot water heater was leaking flooded the basement, you see I've been a bit busy. I love my house, but it is a bit like living in an episode of "This Old House" eventually we'll have replaced everything. 😅
